Comedy

Hailing from Kawacatoose First Nation, Annie Brass has been doing Comedy since 2003! Due to old age, various health conditions, plus short term memory loss you won’t hear the same set twice! Auntie Annie was a cougar before that was ever deadly!

Annie has hosted and performed at a variety of events including music festivals, conferences, community gatherings, and fundraising events, as well as clubs and open mic nights wherever she can grab a mic! Annie has an impressive portfolio, which includes performing at the 2005 Healing our Spirits World Wellness Conference in Edmonton, Alberta and making a guest appearance alongside the Bionic Bannock Boys in the 2008 CBC Reality TV Special - The Last Bannock Standing. In 2014, Annie headlined the Standing Up Against Domestic Violence show in Regina and graced the stage at the legendary Mutiny in Chicago, Illinois in 2017. Annie's comedic brilliance and unique voice gained her national recognition when she was included in CBC's top 100 Comics of 2019. In 2022, she began training with the Indig-E-girl Comedy series, culminating in the hilarious Aunties Say the Deadliest Things show. Annie performed as a part of the Regina Folk Festival's Winteruption - The Auntie Show! Most recently Annie Brass toured with The Saskatchewan Indigenous Comedians, Skoden Stoodis, to Ottawa & Toronto followed by the No Reservations Tour to Los Angelas and Palm Springs California.  Annie is currently available for any stops on her notorious Bent Tour 2025!
